Brand launch in Bangkok, Thailand.
OBJECTIVE
Raise awareness of UNIQLO as a young fashionable brand to drive sales; create queues on the opening day although the brand was little known to most people in Thailand.
RESULT
Opening day was a rousing success with queues forming at 5.00am and extremely high sales figures, resulting in additional publicity about the arrival of an iconic Japanese brand with fashionable and affordable clothing “Made for All.”
